Stumbled across your blog today while looking for a “Birmingham 2020 Olympics” wallpaper for my laptop (didn’t find one, sadly…will have to make my own).
Reading the rest of your blog, though, I was amazed. It’s like I could have written so much of this myself:
-I live in B’ham.
-Raised “Baptist & Republican”.
-Started questioning everything in college.
-Went atheist for a while.
-Came back to Christianity, but with differing views than many of my friends & relatives.
-Politically veered from devout Republican to frustrated independent (leaning toward the Dem side, though).
I’ll be adding your blog to my RSS feeds.

And those 20+ committee members will have comfortable “expense” funds. Look for taxpayer-funded junkets to places both in and outside the USA.
